Gateway Corrections Becomes Sole Provider of In-Custody Treatment Services for Females in Missouri

Gateway Foundation submitted a successful renewal application to the Missouri Department of Corrections for its program at the Women’s Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Vandalia, MO. As the Department elected to wrap all female treatment services into one contract for more continuity of care, this award also provided Gateway with operational oversight of the treatment programs at the Chillicothe Correctional Center in Chillicothe, MO. The contract also included an expansion of the male special-needs program at Northeast Correctional Center in Bowling Green, MO. The cumulative effect of adding these programs to Gateway’s portfolio positions us to become Missouri’s exclusive provider of in-custody treatment services. Gateway now operates over 2,000 treatment beds in six institutions within the MDOC system, making it our second largest Corrections market.
