About Gateway Corrections
Gateway Foundation, a trusted non-profit leader providing drug treatment and alcohol treatment in correctional treatment settings since 1968, currently operates treatment programs for men, women, special needs, and dual diagnosis clients involved in the criminal justice system.
Gateway’s substance use treatment approach is based on over 55 years of experience, best practices, training and research. Gateway’s alcohol and drug treatment programs are delivered in a variety of correctional treatment settings such as prisons, jails, pre-release centers, day reporting centers and community corrections/outpatient programs designed specifically to assist substance-using offenders.

Gateway is best known for its Therapeutic Community (TC) treatment model which was developed and implemented to produce effective results which outcome studies have proven. Gateway provides “adaptive” treatment using Texas Christian University (TCU) assessments and interventions. In-prison substance use treatment programs can provide a 103% – 376% return on investment.
Gateway reduces recidivism and rebuilds lives through its answers to addiction.
